Credit Report Reviews

Concerned about your credit? Our experts can help you unlock the secrets of your credit report and start building strong credit for a lifetime.

Understanding your credit report

A little help can go a long way. We provide the tools and guidance to make it easy. Your credit report and credit score influence your ability to get a loan, buy a car, own a home, rent an apartment, find affordable insurance, land a good job, and so much more.

What is a credit report review?

A confidential, one-on-one credit report review from MMI is a great way to demystify credit. Working with a certified credit counselor, you’ll examine all the information shared on your credit report, section by section. Your counselor will help you understand what it all means, how each item is potentially impacting your credit score, and what you can do to improve your overall credit health. Strong credit can be the difference between reaching your big picture goals and falling short.

What can a credit report review do for me?

Bad credit can be extremely costly. Low credit scores usually lead to high interest rates and a lack of options when it comes to mortgages, auto loans, credit cards, and insurance offers.

If you’re worried about your credit, a credit report review is an excellent way to begin making positive changes. Each session includes two key features:

You get a breakdown of your credit score

We’ll share your current score and discuss all the factors that go into making a good (and bad) credit score. Most importantly, we’ll focus on the top factors that may be bringing your score down.

You’re provided recommendations and action plans to improve your credit score

Good credit doesn’t happen overnight, but we can give you a roadmap to improving your credit health quickly, all while creating the habits that build good credit for a lifetime.

MMI is not a credit repair company and does not provide credit repair services.

Is a credit report review right for me?

  • You’ve never looked at a credit report before and need help understanding what’s on your personal report.
  • You’ve recently had a loan or credit application rejected and you aren’t sure what to do next.
  • You plan on making a major purchase soon and need your credit history to be as solid as possible.
  • You suspect that there may be errors on your credit report, but don't know how to verify that.
