Our Approach to Accessibility

At Money Management International (MMI), we’re committed to ensuring accessibility and usability for all individuals regardless of their abilities. In the spirit of transparency and accountability, we wanted to let you know about the steps we’re taking to keep that commitment.

Why accessibility matters

First things first: we believe that everyone deserves equal access to information and resources, especially when facing significant financial challenges.

While we can’t guarantee that our website will always be perfectly accessible for every user, by following established guidelines (including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, created by the World Wide Web Consortium) we strive to make our resources accessible to the widest audience possible.

How we make our website accessible

Our commitment to accessibility includes the following areas of focus:

Web Design

Our digital spaces are built with care and special consideration for:

Navigation – Navigational components need to be clear, consistent, and behave as expected. This includes buttons and menu options, but also extends to page content, where information and headings should always be understandable and logically ordered.

Color contrasting – There should always be a clear contrast between text and background.

Form labeling – Form fields, especially those requiring user input, should be labeled clearly and descriptively.

Alternative Text

We provide alternative text for images and media on our website, enabling individuals who use assistive technologies to understand and enjoy MMI’s content, regardless of any degree of visual or auditory impairment.

Compatibility and Device Testing

To ensure that our digital properties work as intended across a wide variety of alternative input and output devices, we use web accessibility evaluation tools.

Ongoing Review

We regularly review and update our website to improve accessibility. While we make every effort to ensure ease of access to our content, we recognize that there may be areas that still need improvement. We’re committed to addressing existing or future issues promptly.

Let us know how we can do better

We always value feedback from our clients and website visitors, including suggestions for improving accessibility. If you encounter any difficulties accessing our website or have any accessibility-related issues, please contact us so that we can assist you.

Please note:Our accessibility policy only applies to MMI’s digital properties, including moneymanagement.org. It doesn’t cover external websites that may be linked to or from our pages.
