Bill Pupo has spent over 30 years in city management. As Town Manager of Chino Valley, AZ. the town completed a 36-acre community park, sports facilities, outdoor theater and aquatic center; and an $18M sewer project. As City Manager of Surprise, AZ, he led a team that planned and constructed the 142
acre Surprise Recreation Campus that includes the spring training home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals and recruitment of these teams; and a 500-acre master planned downtown area.
Currently, Mr. Pupo provides consulting services to governmental and business organizations related to economic development, management, strategic business, governmental planning, and project management. He also has served as adjunct faculty in the Business and Public Administration program at the university and community college levels.
Mr. Pupo has served on numerous state and national boards and committees related to city management. Locally and nationally, he has served on community organizations such as the chamber of commerce, the executive committee of the Cactus League, the Surprise Sundancers (supporting youth programs and providing over $1,000,000 in college scholarships to graduating high school seniors), and the Dysart Education Foundation.
Mr. Pupo earned his Master of Business Administration at Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Public Administration at Washington State University.
