George Torres

Over the past 13 years, George Torres has worked in the technology space as a software executive in companies such as PTC, Nice Systems and Hewlett Packard. Since 2015 he has been with Oracle Corporation and responsible for Supply Chain Applications within North American Retail and Consumer Goods. Mr. Torres’s software experience spans multiple areas to include optimization of business processes and IT environments around Product Lifecyle Management, Supply Chain Planning, Call Center Recording/Quality/Analytics, Workforce Management, Voice of the Customer, and Interactive Marketing.

Mr. Torres was the sole individual selected to represent the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico for West Point’s Class of 1997. Upon graduation, he earned his commission as a Combat Arms Officer in the U.S. Army’s Air Defense Artillery Branch where his active-duty stations and exercises included Ft. Bliss TX, Germany, Southwest Asia, Turkey and Poland. He served five years of active service and resigned ranked among the top 10% of his peer group as Captain.

In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Systems Engineering from West Point, Mr. Torres also earned his MBA in Global Business Leadership from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas.
